3-5 beneficial wildflower seeds are encased in Terra Cotta clay, which helps protect the seeds from being eaten by critters. The clay will soften in good rain, allowing plants to grow, even in hard-to-reach areas. Seed balls can be scattered in a garden bed or simply tossed in a field or local abandoned lot.
